The Shelly-Giesing Cemetary is just outside eastern Chamois and apparently very poorly tended. I tried to get to it on June 7th, 2009, but was unable to complete the drive on the muddy dirt road through the farm just off Hwy 100. Below is an account of a visit to the site in 1987, at which time it had already suffered greatly from the lack of attention. I was able to find only two Giesing descendants living in Chamois at the time of my visit. (Back to Michael Montgomery's Ancestors)
